SAP’s HANA Startup Program has resulted in a different kind of SAP event in Cambridge, MA – one that amounts to a major departure from the company’s classic approach.

Jon caught up with Scott Howser, VP Marketing – Hadapt, to find out whether gathering a slew of startups was an effective strategy. Scott points out that, with SAP being the equivalent of the 800-pound gorilla of the enterprise space, there are only so many ways to innovate internally, without looking to the market for ideas. As Scott sees it, SAP’s investment in the community will result in more innovation being brought to enterprise.
