Prior to his presentation at the Cloud Computing World Forum on the Future of Software, John Harris of GSK spoke with the JD-OD team about the impact of cloud. As the chair of the UK Corporate IT Forum, Harris has an on-the-ground view of how CIOs view the cloud.  Harris shares his view of how the cloud changes how we view and consume software. He also touches on the disruption this is causing CIOs (and IT departments).  As Harris puts it, “I’m not excited about the cloud because I can put a server up quickly.” He sees a much more transformational impact.
