I recently spoke with Narinder Singh, co-founder Appirio and brainchild behind CloudSpokes, a contest based community aimed at attracting those interested in building cloud apps for the enterprise. My main interest was in finding out the reaction of those at Salesforce, especially as that company recently acquired Heroku. They were surprisingly welcoming, not least because both Salesforce and Appirio see a large opportunity to disrupt incumbents like Accenture and Deloitte.
